Where are the Races Held?
The Landor races are the Eastern Gascoyne’s Race clubs traditional meeting. The meeting is held annually on the middle weekend of the third term school holidays. (October)
Where is Landor?
Landor races are held at the Landor racecourse approximately 30kms north of the Landor Homestead. Approximately 272km from Meekatharra and 410km East of Carnarvon.
Admission Costs
General Admission for Adults $75, for 10 to under 18 $15 and under 10s are free. Tickets are available through Eventbrite for more infomation contact races@landor.net.au or call 0418942282
Camping
Landor has a large visitor’s camping area with ample facilities, there are no powered sites and sites cannot be reserved, it is first in. Please note that all campsites along the creek and immediately adjacent are traditional campsites that are occupied by long standing Landor families, if you happen to set up in one of these sites you will be asked to move on.

What Facilities are available?
The racecourse has sufficient showers and toilets situated throughout the grounds, a very limited amount of fire wood is supplied for the boilers that heat the showers.
Can we get water?
The race course has ample water supplies but please be advised that water supplies will not be available until Thursday- this includes water supply to toilets and showers.
Where can I obtain fuel?
Fuel is available from the tanker Saturday, Sunday and Monday mornings, please refer to the program for more details.
Can I buy food?
Food is available for purchase over the weekend from from Mundillya Homestead, items include, Pies, Burgers, Chips and Gravy, Burritos and a selection of hand made ice-cream. Evening meals are available with a different theme each night. For more information and evening bookings please refer to the Landor Facebook page closer to the event date.
Can I get Money out at Landor?
There are no eftpos facilities at Landor.
Can I Purchase Souvenirs?
The club has a merchandise store selling all sorts from shirts to hats and cups, please refer to the programme for opening times.
Will my Mobile phone work?
No. Landor does not have mobile coverage, for emergencies please contact the Secretary who has a satellite phone.
Who to contact in case of Emergency?
Landor has a doctor in attendance usually from Friday night till Monday night and St Johns Ambulance are on course from Friday to Monday night and they are located behind the big black water tanks. For any other times please contact the Secretary who has basic first aid items and a satellite phone.
Can we bring our dog?
Dogs are allowed in your camps, but they must be kept on a leash at all times and are not permitted within the Landor compound including the kitchen and bar area. Please keep your dogs away from horses at all times.
